Eric Bruner teaches his students the same technique used by more than 300 of the biggest stars in the recording and entertainment industry over the past 30 years, which has amassed more than 116 "Grammys", “American Idol” winners, 7 "Tonys" and 4 Metropolitan Opera Soloists' awards.
Eric's students have worked with such stars as Celine Dion, Billy Joel, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, TLC, Hillary Duff, J.Lo, DMX, Prince, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Paul Simon, Harry Connick Jr., Paula Abdul, Larnelle Harris, and others who are signed to such labels as Sony, Capitol, MCA, High Street, Warner Brothers, and Atlantic Records.
For over 20 years, Eric Bruner has worked with thousands of performers who come to study with him from all over the world. He is sought after by directors, producers and artists to quickly train singers and actors to vocalize safely with more power, range, ease and control than they ever thought possible! Eric regularly judges the pre-round phase on the "Gimme the Mic" singing talent TV show on NBC Houston. In his private studio, vocal classes and in his national seminars, he routinely works with professional and non-professional vocalists of all ages performing R&B, Gospel, Rock, Opera, Musical Theater, Jazz, Pop, Country, Rap, Punk, Tejano, Contemporary Christian and more.
Eric's clients include record label recording artists, former Billboard top 10 artists, and many students with solo and group CD projects to their credit. They regularly perform on national and international television, and perform for live audiences of over 70,000 people. They are chosen for lead roles in movies, Broadway shows, Musical Theater and Opera productions, perform in top bands, symphony choruses and movies, and do extensive commercial singing and speaking work.
Even though this is true, you're more likely to hear him bragging on a student who simply wants to make the lead in the musical, or perform at a club for several hours without losing her voice, or sing in the worship team at church, or sing lead in their band, or pursue a solo career.
Why?
Because many of these are some of his best vocal students with powerful, clear voices and terrific vocal range and control. They all came to Eric wanting to sing better so they can perform at at level that surpassed every other performer around them.... and now they do!
His love for people and the potential of the voice within every student has driven him to a level of excellence in teaching vocal technique seldom seen.
Eric also specializes in working with singers with various vocal disorders. He's worked in conjunction with ENT’s, Vocal Pathologists and Speech Therapists, to help singers with vocal disorders regain their vocal range, strength and control.
